ABOUT SUNIL
Sunil Abeyewickreme was called to the Bar in 2004, and is one of the few lawyers in the United Kingdom to have extensive knowledge of the regulations pertaining to healthcare and dentistry.
In October 2011 he crossqualified as a solicitor, after having been made a partner in a national law firm in May 2010.​

Sunil joined the award-winning innovative full service law firm, gunnercooke LLP as a Partner in 2013 and was responsible for the firm's offering to the healthcare sector nationally.

Sunil has considerable experience of providing advice and support to professionals, particularly those in the healthcare sector. He has a clear understanding of the full range of legal issues that arise and works with lawyers from various disciplines to provide the most appropriate solution.

Sunil has conducted a number of judicial review cases at the Adminstrative Court. He has made urgent applications in relation to challenging decisions made by public authorities.
